Our Pastor & Staff
Bro. Dan Lydick
Our Pastor, Dan Lydick, came to Rocky Mountain Baptist Church in Sept. of ‘94. After receiving his B.S. degree at Baptist Bible College in Missouri & doing Graduate work at Grace Theological Seminary in Indiana, he started Pastoring in ‘76 by organizing Longview Bible Baptist Church in Longview, Washington, where he served for 18 years. God has blessed tremendously here under his ministry in the salvation of many souls, with steady growth and continued expansion of the facilities housing the Church. He is also on the Executive Board of Directors of Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City, OK, and leads the Church in many World-wide mission endeavors through the Church’s many ministries. Great Men of God from around the country preach here as guest speakers throughout the year as a result of the Church’s various outreaches through Pastor Lydick’s leadership. The Pastor’s ministry is characterized by the Preeminence of Preaching the Word of God. His desire as Pastor is that this church finds effective and God honoring efforts to reach this world for Christ. We as the Church of God must “key on Christ as the Light for the souls of men.”
Bro. Tanner Walton
Bro. Tanner Walton was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. He was saved when he was a sophomore in High School and surrendered his life to the gospel ministry on February 8, 2014. Bro. Tanner spent the following summer in New Braunfels, Texas where he served as a Coach/Counselor at a Christian Sports Camp, T-Bar-M. That was his first ministry experience. After spending that Fall in the West Texas oil fields with his dad, Bro. Tanner enrolled at Heartland Baptist Bible College in the Spring of 2015. While at HBBC, he met his wife, Taryn Walton. They now have one child, their son, Teller. Bro. Tanner graduated from HBBC in the spring of 2018. One month after graduation, Bro. Tanner and his family arrived in Kalispell where they now serve as the Assistant Pastor and work with the youth. He preaches with boldness and great insight, and his fun loving spirit and his servant’s heart are a great asset to the ministry here.
